All the hides used in making the Owen&Savary bracelets are subject to strict checking under CITES regulations (the Convention of International Trade and Endangered Species).

Every exotic hide we buy is numbered and traceable.

Out of respect for the environment, we deal only with leatherworkers who adhere to the 2007 European Community Regulation on the Safe Use of Chemicals, known as REACH. It applies not only to chemical substances as such but also to other elements including those used for dyes and colouring processes.
